Applications are now open for Think Ahead’s Recruitment Ambassador and Summer Internship roles.
These roles are a great way to gain valuable work experience, build your CV, and learn more about Think Ahead and how we work. All roles pay the Living Wage. Visit our Opportunities section to apply.
(These roles are in addition to the Think Ahead programme, which opens for applications on Monday 4 September.)
Recruitment Ambassador roles are part-time positions for final-year students. In this role you will work independently to raise awareness and understanding of Think Ahead and mental health amongst your fellow students. You’ll use creative marketing techniques, spread the word through your own networks, act as a point of contact for interested students, and represent Think Ahead at careers fairs and other events. These roles run from September to December, with possible extension to February. You’ll work for around four hours a week, leaving plenty of time for study. Deadline: Rolling applications, first deadline at 5pm Friday 26 May.
Interns join our head office team for three weeks in the summer. We’re a small and dynamic team running a complex and high-profile operation, so in this role you’ll take on a number of varied and challenging tasks. We have two internships available – one working with our Recruitment team, supporting our work to recruit diverse and talented applicants for our third cohort, and another with our Communications team, working to raise awareness of the programme and of mental health social work more generally. Deadline: 5pm Friday 26 May.
