Applications open for Internships and Recruitment Ambassador roles
We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for our Summer Internships and Recruitment Ambassador roles. Visit our Opportunities section for more information and to apply.
These new opportunities offer a chance to join the Think Ahead team and make a real difference to people with mental illness. They are also a great opportunity for you to gain valuable work experience, build your CV, and learn more about Think Ahead and how we work. All roles pay the Living Wage.
These roles are in addition to the Think Ahead programme, which will continue next year as recently covered by the BBC. Applications to join the programme in 2017 will open in September this year.
As a Recruitment Ambassador you will help build Think Ahead’s reputation among fellow students at your university (these roles are only open to students who will be studying at university during the 2016/17 academic year). You’ll organise and run events, reach out to student groups who may not have heard about Think Ahead, and design new approaches to ensure we attract a strong and diverse mix of applicants. We’ll also ask for your feedback on your experiences to help shape Think Ahead’s future opportunities for students. You’ll be asked to work around four hours per week, leaving plenty of time to concentrate on study. Deadline: rolling applications, with first deadline at 5pm, 25 April 2016.
As a Summer Intern you will join our head office team for three weeks during the summer. It’s a small team running a complex and high-profile operation, so this is a chance to take on a varied and challenging role in a dynamic environment. You can apply to work with our Recruitment Team to develop a strategy to recruit a diverse range of students and career changers to the Think Ahead programme, or with our Communications Team to manage social media channels and create news stories and interviews for our website. Deadline: 5pm, 31 May 2016
