New opportunities to work with Think Ahead as a Recruitment Ambassador or Intern

We are delighted to announce two exciting new opportunities to work with us to help us raise awareness of the Think Ahead programme, and of mental health social work.

These paid roles are ideal for students or other highly-motivated individuals with a passion for mental health, who are looking to build their CV, gain experience and develop transferable skills.

Recruitment Ambassadors

As a Recruitment Ambassador you will work on campus to build university students’ awareness of mental health social work and the opportunities offered by Think Ahead. To do this you will use communication channels creatively, build on your existing networks, act as a point of contact for students, and support the Think Ahead team at careers fairs and other events. This role allows you to work independently while developing your communication, networking and marketing skills, and it can easily be built around your studies.

You will work for four hours a week from September to December, with possible extension to February, and you will be paid the Living Wage of £8.75 per hour (£10.20 with London weighting).

Deadline: 5pm on Friday 31 August.

(Please note: you must be a student in the 2018/19 academic year to apply for this role.)

Recruitment Intern

As a Recruitment Intern you will join our team at the Think Ahead head office in London for three weeks in the summer. In this role you will support our work to recruit diverse and talented applicants to join our programme in 2019. You’ll help us develop and implement an effective recruitment strategy, and build relationships with key external partners. This role allows you to gain first-hand experience of working in the graduate and career-changer recruitment market.

You will be paid the London Living Wage of £10.20 per hour, amounting to £1,150.

Deadline: 5pm Friday 6 July.
