Announcing our new Trustees

We’re thrilled to announce the addition of two new trustees joining our board. Lyn Romeo CBE and Steve Oldfield CB have now joined our board, alongside Peter Hay CBE, our new Chair of the Board.

Lyn Romeo CBE

Lyn Romeo was the first Chief Social Worker for Adults in England. After stepping down from the role earlier this year Lyn continues to advocate for people to live their best possible lives.

Lyn said:

“It is a privilege to join the board at this crucial time, especially as we see the increasing need for mental health support in our communities.  Growing and developing a thriving mental health workforce and ensuring that people with lived experience are partners in shaping and improving practice and services is imperative.

“The role that social work practice has in promoting human rights, social justice and supporting people to thrive cannot be underestimated.  I have seen the positive impact that Think Ahead has had over the last 10 years and am pleased to be a part of its next chapter.”

Steve Oldfield CB

Steve is a Business leader in Life Sciences. He was the Former Chief Commercial Officer & Director General Life Sciences at the Department of Health & Social Care.

Steve Oldfield CB said:

” I am delighted to be joining the Board of Trustees of Think Ahead.
