Poor mental health is increasing in the UK – the government must act now.

The newest data from the Adult Psychiatric Morbidity Survey shows a worrying increase of people experiencing mental health conditions, at a time when mental health services and practitioners are already being pushed to their limits.

Investment in the workforce

Everyone with mental health needs deserves to get the right support at the right time for them. But this won’t be possible without a thriving mental health workforce.

We hope the imminent 10-year health plan and following long term workforce plan deliver the investment in the workforce needed to reverse these trends and build a system that can meet growing levels of need.
