Recent projects

We've been innovating the mental health workforce since 2014.

Collaborating with social enterprises, charities and over 100 NHS trusts and local authorities across England, we support mental health organisations to strengthen their workforce.

Expanding voluntary employment support
Commissioned by NHS England, we are providing strategic advice, recruitment and marketing support to 70 Individual Placement Support providers across England.

Specialist drug and alcohol training for social workers
Upskilling social workers to support co-existing mental health and substance use issues. Trainees were eight times more confident in their abilities after our course.

Approved mental health professionals' standards
We are embedding the Approved Mental Health Professionals' National Standards with local councils to drive improvement across five regions in England.

Assessed and Supported Year in Employment
In partnership with Skills for Care, we researched newly qualified social workers’ experiences in the NHS and advised on improvements. The project convened a first-of-its-kind collaboration for ASYE provision in London.
