Oxford – The Gender Divide

Oxford Students only

How can we address the male shortfall in frontline public services?

For every four teachers in schools, three are female, and only 20% of social workers are male. Frontline, Think Ahead, and Ark Teacher Training invite you to consider: why is this? What can be done to attract more men to these public service careers? Join us for a lively discussion on the importance of diversity in these professions, and being role models in society. Come along and contribute your thoughts on re-imagining 21st century masculinity within graduate careers. All genders welcome.

There will also be the opportunity to meet recruiters from each organisation and find out more about how you can become involved in teaching and social work. To register your attendance, please visit Eventbrite.
