Opportunities at head office

Alumni Associate

  • £30,000 per annum.
  • Permanent contract – full time (37.5 hours).
  • Application deadline: 9am on Monday 21 October.
  • Interview date: Tuesday 29 October.

About the role

We’re looking for a dynamic and highly-motivated individual to build on our work engaging with the alumni of the Think Ahead programme. You will play an important role in establishing events and activities with our former participants to help further the charity’s impact.

At Think Ahead we want the connection between participants and the organisation to exist well beyond graduation. The Alumni Associate will be responsible for determining and delivering the alumni network strategy through consultation with current and former participants and Consultant Social Workers. This will involve broadening the range of available internal activities for alumni to contribute to the Think Ahead mission, and developing forums of interaction with and between different cohorts. The Alumni Associate will also liaise with the wider Think Ahead network to support alumni in their career development after they finish the programme, including setting up training sessions, access to mentoring schemes and networking opportunities. The promotion and evaluation of the alumni network are vital to this role.
