Opportunities with Think Ahead in 2017 – application dates announced

We can today announce the opening date for applications to join the Think Ahead graduate programme in 2018, and for two additional opportunities for students and graduates to work with us this year.

Applications to join our third intake, beginning the programme in July 2018, will open on Monday 4 September 2017.

If you’re looking for a graduate job that’s rewarding, varied, and challenging, and you’re motivated to make a difference to people with mental health problems, then our programme could be for you. You’ll be paid to learn on the job and work alongside clinical professionals, while studying for a master’s degree and developing your leadership skills.

Join us in 2017 as a Recruitment Ambassador or an Intern

We are also pleased to announce that we’re offering two other opportunities for students and graduates to get involved with Think Ahead in 2017. Our Recruitment Ambassador roles and Internships are a brilliant way to join the Think Ahead movement, develop new skills, and enhance your CV.

Both roles pay the Living Wage, and applications will open on Monday 3 April 2017.

Recruitment Ambassadors are employed at various universities to help raise awareness of Think Ahead amongst fellow students. They organise and run events, reach out to student groups who may not have heard about Think Ahead, and design new approaches to ensure we attract a strong and diverse mix of applicants. Ambassadors need to be current students, and they work for around four hours a week, leaving plenty of time for study.

Interns join our head office team for a few weeks during the summer. We are a small team running a complex and high-profile operation, so internships are a great chance to take on a varied and challenging role in a dynamic environment.
